FAQ - frequently asked questionsWhat are the advantages of a destratifying heater? It is the only gas heater on the market which fully combines destratifying with heating. While heating with hot air it is key to recycle warm air collecting in upper parts of a building and directing it downwards. Traditional horizontal heaters only party direct the air flow downwards, while in NGV heaters the air is fully directed there. This gives tangible savings in terms of capital expenditure and maintenance. What are the advantages of a pipe heat exchanger? Unlike the older type of exchangers, the pipe exchanger has a structure similar to a pipe radiator, i.e. the circulation of flame and hot air inside is forced by negative pressure, thanks to which the exchanger is highly efficient and durable. How are heaters better than infra-red heaters? We do not view them as better or worse, which means that, depending on the building’s requirements and its purpose, we recommend using one or the other type or both of them simultaneously. In short, infra-red heaters are more cost efficient by definition, but because they do not heat air directly they cannot be used, for example, to directly heat air from outside for ventilation. Like with NGV, if high heat comfort is required, it is good to use infra-red heaters, while when we need only standard temperature high storage racks, it is worthwhile installing NGV. In each case it is best to contact our technical department and obtain its advice on choosing the right type of device. |
