Pipe infra-red heaters

A pipe infra-red heater is composed of three main elements: a gas burner, a radiating pipe and a screen.

The burners in ETD and ETS infra-red heaters are blow type, i.e. the burner’s flame is lengthened by a low-rotation, low-noise fan, which works in clean feeding air. A high-quality burner ensures the top quality of heat efficiency of the equipment.

Radiating pipes are made of special steel with some titanium added, and covered with black silicon emulsion, thanks to which they have extraordinary radiating capacity. The unique composition of steel and black coat ensures the top quality of heat efficiency of the equipment.

The screens of ETD and ETS infra-red heaters are made of doubly polished bright aluminium, which ensures the highest coefficient of reflecting heat radiation.

In order to tailor the equipment to the needs of the building, radiating pipes (each in 3m modules) are combined into straight (L), U-shape and S-shape sets. In large buildings the most commonly used is L shape.

Using ETS single-stage infra-red heaters guarantees substantial power savings. Additionally, more than 12% fuel can be saved when using ETD infra-red heaters equipped with a two-stage burner, which helps obtain the sprayed parameters both when working at 100% and 70% power.

Both types of infra-red heaters are fuelled with natural gas GZ 50, GZ 41,5, GZ 35 or propane. The power of pipe infra-red heaters ranges from 13.5 kW to 46.1 kW.

Other features of ETD and ETS pipe infra-red heaters include:

High heat and radiating efficiency (confirmed with tests carried out by the Institute of Oil and Gas Industry in Cracow), obtained thanks to using:
  • specially chosen steel alloy in the radiating pipe,
  • reflector made of polished aluminium,
  • swirl vane at the end piece of the heating pipe,
  • black silicon paint which increases the radiation.
Longer life and reliability thanks to using solutions such as:
  • the structure of the burner that ensures optimal flame, adjusted to the devices,
  • burning chamber made of steel and titanium alloy,
  • aluminium-coated heating pipe covered with black paint made on the basis of heat-resistant silicon,
  • the fan operating in clean air, not in fumes as in ventilating fans.
The infra-red heater can be installed in "U", "L", or "S" shapes depending on the needs in the building.

Quiet operation – noise level at 50 dB (the norm is up to 85 dB)
