Gas infra-red heaters

Gas infra-red heaters are the most durable devices. Their work is based on conducting heat directly by infra-red heating.
Thanks to gas fuel they are also the cheapest devices of this type.
There are two kinds of gas infra-red heaters in use: ceramic ones, also called bright, and pipe ones, also called dark or low-intensive.
Using gas infra-red heaters helps dramatically reduce warmth losses thanks to lowering the temperature of changed air in the premises and to the possibility of creating separate heating zones, the so-called spot heating.

In Caloriss system we use both kinds of devices, depending on the building’s characteristics and requirements.

The principle of operation
The principle of gas infra-red heater operation is very simple.
The infra-red heater, like the sun, emits infra-red heating, which without air as a carrier heats directly the surface of solid objects (people and things). Unlike the sun, it does not emit harmful rays (UV and shorter waves). Thanks to that heat reaches directly its destination at the speed of light. Only then are the air and walls heated from the floor, which together gives the feeling of temperature in the heated zone, higher than the air temperature.

The feature of gas infra-red heating
Advantage
Temperature felt is higher than air temperature
Limiting heat losses during ventilating the building

Higher work comfort (air for breathing is not so hot)

Lower thermal inertia of the building
Concentration of heat in low parts of the building
Limiting heat losses when going through ceiling and ventilation

Lower thermal inertia of the building
No forced air circulation
Possibility of spot heating

High comfort in the building

Quiet devices
Module structure of the system
Tailoring the system to the needs of the building

Possibility to add further modules to the system
